Questions about the website plan

A$249 a month plus a one-off setup fee of A$499, GST may apply. There is one plan and one price. The first year comes to A$3,487 before any GST.

The minimum term is 12 months from the day your site goes live. After that the plan runs month to month and either of us can end it with notice before the next billing date.

The setup fee covers building the site: laying out your pages, product range, quote form and service areas. The monthly fee covers hosting, security updates, your content edits and the enquiry report.

Prices are shown without GST because the plan is sold only to businesses. GST is added only if the operator is registered for GST when it invoices you, which is why the price reads "GST may apply".

No. Nobody can honestly promise a position in Google or a number of quote requests. We build a fast, clear site with the pages window customers look for and keep it up to date. Google says there is no way to pay for a better local ranking.

No. Paid advertising and the ad spend are not included. If you run ads, we can point them at the right page on your site as one of your monthly edits.

Your business details, logo, photos of your work, the products and services you sell, the suburbs or towns you cover, any prices you want shown, and access to your domain. We send a checklist after the call so nothing is missed.

Within 14 days of receiving everything on the content checklist. If something is missing we tell you what, and the 14 days start once it arrives.

No. You supply the words, photos and prices, and we lay them out, fix obvious typos and shape them into pages. The content checklist asks simple questions so the writing is easier than starting from a blank page.

Yes. You get a preview link to review before launch. Changes you ask for at the review stage are part of the build and don't use your monthly edits.

Yes. We set your business name in a clean typeface that suits the site. Logo and brand design aren't part of the plan, so if you want a designed logo you would arrange that separately.

Yes. Product pages can carry the rating details you supply for each frame and glass combination, such as star ratings, U-value and SHGC, with a note on where the figures come from. We only show figures you give us for the actual product.

The quote form can ask for photos, window counts, sizes, frame type and suburb, so you can price or plan a measure before you call back. The exact fields are set during the build to match how you quote.

One change to an existing page, such as new photos in the gallery, an added product, changed hours, a new suburb or updated prices. Up to 5 are included each month. New features or a redesign are quoted before any work starts.

Yes. Each month you get a short report of the enquiries your website received through its form and booking tools, so you can see what the site is producing.

Yes. Every page is built for small screens first, because many homeowners look up a glazier on their phone. Google also uses the mobile version of a site for indexing.

You do. The domain is registered in your business name and you pay the registrar directly. If you leave, you keep the domain and we help you point it wherever you choose.

After the 12-month minimum term you can end the plan with written notice before your next billing date. We stop hosting the site, send you a copy of the content you supplied and help move your domain.

You can give notice, but the monthly fees for the rest of the minimum term remain payable, unless you are ending it because we seriously breached the terms and didn't fix it within 14 days. The plan terms set this out in full.
